Every vendor on Afriq Global Market must complete an identity check before their first listing goes live. Nigerian vendors are verified using NIN, BVN, and facial recognition. International and diaspora vendors complete biometric verification available across 100+ countries. Products are reviewed against our listing standards before approval.
02Do I need a registered business to sell?+
No. You can sell as an individual or a registered business. To maintain a secure marketplace, we only require basic identity verification to get you started.
03How does escrow payment work?+
To ensure fair trade, payments are held in secure escrow until the buyer confirms receipt. If the buyer takes no action after delivery, the order is automatically confirmed and payment is released after 48 hours for within-Africa transactions or 14 days for international transactions.
04What happens if a product isn’t delivered?+
Your purchase is fully protected. Because we use an escrow system, the vendor does not receive payment until delivery is verified. If your product doesn’t arrive, we will investigate and facilitate a full reimbursement to your original payment method.
